Obituary
Samuel Benson Sami, 66 of Almond, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
Samuel was born in Bronx, NY to Jack Sami and the late Sara Hazan Sami. Samuel was affiliated with Mountain Synagogue and Temple Beth David in Springhill, FL. He enjoyed camping, boating, back porch sitting and loved "tinkering." Samuel served on the Board of Directors for Tobacco Branch Village and was the president of the Homeowners Association.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karen Sami; daughters, Kimberly Fox (Frank) of Batesburg, SC, Christine Cline (Jason) of Lutz, Fl, and Deanna Walker (Paul) of Greer, SC; dad, Jack Sami; siblings, Gina Coenson of Alpharetta, GA, and Mark Sami of Winter Haven, FL; grandchildren, Johnathan, Samuel, Corissa, Emily, Hailey, Erin, Sydney, and Logan.
A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 12 pm.
Rabbi Yosi Knight will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to National Kidney Association or Mt. Synagogue PO Box 504, Franklin, NC 28744.
