Samuel Gleaner, 96, of Highlands, entered into rest Monday, June 13, 2005.
A native of Russia, he was the son of the late Phillip and Rose Shiparo Gleaner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Gleaner who died in 1964, and by seven brothers and sisters. Mr. Gleaner was a US Army WWII and Coast Guard Veteran; retired from the jewelry and realestate business; a member of the Masonic Lodge in Philadelphia; and of the Jewish faith.
Surviving are one son, Steve Gleaner and wife, Martha of Highlands; one granddaughter, Stephanie Gleaner of Highlands; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be gathering at the home of Steve and Martha Gleaner, 57 Hidden Village Trail, Highlands.
Graveside Services will be at a later date in Philadelphia, PA.
