Obituary
Sam Dwight Parrish, 61, of Otto, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015.
Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Max Parrish and Ruth Perteet Parrish. Sam retired from the U.S. Forest Service where he worked as a civil engineer. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Sam enjoyed his cattle and working on the farm.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lisa Parker Parrish; daughter, Emma Ruth Odell and husband, Jesse; grandson, Samuel Parrish Odell; a brother Charles Parrish of Otto and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
