Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Enloe, 101, of Franklin, NC passed away at Grandview Manor Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She was born October 16, 1919 in Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts to the late Arthur Raymond and Ruth E. Remick Drummond.

In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jeff H. Enloe, brothers, Arthur Drummond, William Drummond, sister, Marilyn Chase and Step grandson Nik Fredrick

Surviving Ruth is her sons William (Ann) Enloe, Jeff (Melaine) Enloe, James "Jimmy" (Kerry) Enloe and Gregory (Patti) Enloe, also surviving is her grandchildren, Cynthia (Doug) Neff and Timothy Enloe, two great grandchildren, Caleb and Heidi Neff, several nieces and nephews as well.

Ruth was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church. Ruth was trained as a nurse but was a homemaker but put her talents in the medical field to use by volunteering. Ruth volunteered with the Hospital auxiliary where she had many hours, she volunteered with the mobile blood bank as well as various clinic when they would come to town. Ruth enjoyed flowers and her flower gardens were eye catching.


A graveside funeral services will be held Monday December28, 2020 at 11:00 AM. in the Mt. Zion cemetery with Pastor Evan Hill officiating.
