Obituary
Ruth A. Dawiczyki (Dovitski), 76, of Franklin, NC, entered into rest Wednesday, February 23, 2005.
A native of Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Mildred Grover Adams. She worked as an office manager in doctors offices; was a Sunday School Teacher; prime time singer; worked with kids in the after school program; and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Joseph Alex Dawiczyki; four children, June Danis of Terryville, CT, Judy Stockinger of San Diego, CA, Dennis Mogan of Bel Grade, ME, and David Mogan of Pompano Beach, FL; two brothers, Lawrence Adams of Toledo, OH and John Adams of Cullowhee, NC; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A Memorial Service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 25, at First Baptist Church. Rev. Harold Ball and Rev. Joe Sustarsic officiated.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, March 11, at Zion Lutheran Church, 27 Judd Street, Bristol, CT 06010.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 69 Iotla Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
Macon Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
