Ruth P. Carver, 84, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Jake Passmore and Layla Louella
Wilson Passmore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hayes Junior Carver who died May 25, 2010; infant daughter Linda Ann Carver and two brothers, Bill and Don Passmore.
She is survived by five children, Bobby Ray Carver and wife Nora, Maxine Carver Greene, Ella Faye Carver, Nella Mae Carver and Rosey L. Green and husband Raymond all of Franklin; four sisters, Gertha Fowler of Asheville, Annie Mae Carver of Franklin, Dorothy Sharp and Ruby Higgins both of Leicester, NC; brother, Grady Passmore of Franklin; 17 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 28th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Frank Rodriguez and Rev. Howard Southard will officiate. Burial will be in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Friday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be David Green, Melvin Houston, Michael Carver, William Scott, Bobby Ray, Timothy Carver and Donovan Carver.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
