Obituary
Russ Dean Willard, 43, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010.
Born in Lakeland, FL, he was the son of the late John E. Willard and Mary Rose Chambers Dykes. Russ enjoyed fishing; he loved computers, guitars and most importantly, people. He was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Sharon Houston Willard; two children, Brett and Robyn Willard both of the home; two brothers, Anthony Willard and wife Suzanne of Chicago, IL and Scott Dykes of Ocala, FL; a sister, Tracie Utley and husband Mike of Woodbury, TN; two brothers-in-law, Phil Houston and Greg Houston and wife Lynsey both of Franklin; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 7, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Byrd will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
