Ruby Belle Findlay Saunders, 94, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012.

Born in Holt, FL, she was the daughter of the late Henry Lunsford and Bessie Powell Lunsford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Campbell Findlay, who died in 1973; her second husband, Gene Saunders who died in 2006 and eight brothers and sisters. Ruby was Southern Baptist by faith and loved her family.

She is survived by her son, Jon Cary Findlay and wife Konstance of Arden, NC; seven step-children, Tina Pyle of Franklin, Karen Saunders of Mesa, AZ, Kevin Saunders of Glen Alan, VA, Jerry Saunders of Ft. Worth, TX, Michael Saunders of Tampa, FL, David Saunders of Phoenix, AZ and Glenna Jackson of Reidsville, NC; two grandchildren, Thomas Andrew Findlay and Scott Campbell Findlay; step-grandchildren, Regina Seagle, Matthew Pyle and several other step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 27th, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, Florida.
