Ruby Fox Henry, 79, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018.

Born in Macon County, she was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Anna Belle Bryson Fox. She was a retired school teacher; a member of the Mountain Grove Baptist Church; was an avid Tar Heel basketball fan, enjoyed taking walks on the greenway and having picnic lunches at the Greenhouse on Onion Mountain. Ruby was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. .

She is survived by her husband, of 54 years, Jim Henry; two daughters, Devonne Jimison (Danny) of Franklin, NC; Denise Wright (Roland) of Hickory, NC; two sisters, Marlene Williams of Franklin, NC; Jewel Young of Woodstock, GA; one brother, Ray Fox (Ella Mae) of Bryson City, NC; four grandchildren,Danielle, Drake, Ashlyn and Weston: and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the Macon Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Billy Sellers will be officiating. Burial will be at the Mountain Grove Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Fox, Bruce Fox, Todd Sellers, Eddie Silvernell, David Ammons and Dale Young. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Cunningham and Wardie Young.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mountain Grove Baptist Church, 179 Grandview Court, Franklin, NC 28734.
