Roy "Rod" Rodney Pohlenz, 93, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016.
Born in Blue Hill, NE, he was the son of the late Fred Will and Nellie Breitwieser Pohlenz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irma B. Pohlenz. Rod was an U.S. Army and Navy veteran; he was the owner of Sam's Upholstery.
He is survived by one son, John Pohlenz of Whittier, NC.
