Obituary
Roy "DD" Joseph Aiello, 83, of Franklin, died Thursday October 25, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Frank Chester Aiello and Fannie Rose Aiello. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Aiello who died September 27, 1997. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and a recipient of the Purple Heart. Roy was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his brother, Anthony John Aiello, of Sun City Center, FL; his sister, Fannie Chmiel of Bronx, NY; several nieces and nephews great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 29, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Father Matthew Kauth will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
