Obituary

Roxie Passmore Cloer, 96, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late John Passmore and Nealie McCall Passmore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step mother Delia Passmore and her uncle Charlie McCall who raised her; her husband, Rev. Andy Cloer; son, David Cloer; brothers, Chris, Chuck, Homer, Dewey and Cecil and a sister, Rosie. She was a member of Longview Baptist Church. Roxie enjoyed going on long drives and she enjoyed being with people.

She is survived by four children, Bennie Collett and husband Gene, Patricia Ballew and husband Joe, Willa Tippett and husband John and Buddy Cloer and wife Ida all of Franklin; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Wiley Gibson and Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ron Collett, Jeff Cloer, Steve Tippett, Mark Cloer, Reggie Holland, III and Jim Moss. Larry Cloer and Mike Hastings will serve as an Honorary Pallbearers.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
