Obituary
Rosa Burrell Schewe, 91, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020.
Born in Murphy, NC, she was the daughter of the late Fred Burrell and Dennie Patterson Burrell. Rosa is preceded in death by her husband, Otto E.G. Schewe. She loved Jesus and loved her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Poindexter (Eddie) of Franklin; her son, Tim Schewe of Franklin; two brothers, Larry Burrell (Erma) of Jasper, GA, Maxie Burrell (Patricia) of Franklin, NC; two sisters, Sue Collins of Franklin, TX and Jo Measmer of Ranger, NC; two grandchildren, Kyle Poindexter and Lauren Sizer (Nathan); one great granddaughter, Ashlyn Poindexter; niece and nephews, Becky, Mark, Adam and numerous other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 16th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Cale Stancil will officiate. Burial will be held in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to one's favorite charity.
