Obituary
Ronald "Nick" Nicklos Pendergrass, 43, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011.
Born in Jackson Co. NC, he was the son of James Clifton Pendergrass and Helen Bertilee Barnes Pendergrass. Nick volunteered at the Chamber of Commerce when he was younger. He loved computers, fish and beanie babies.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Cliftney Sterling and husband Jesse of Franklin; brother, Jeff Pendergrass and wife Joy of Franklin; adopted sister, Tammi McClure of Franklin; four nephews, Brian Sterling, Tyler Pendergrass, Jarrett Sterling and Evan Sterling; several other nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, at Newfound Baptist Church. Rev. Johnny Raby and Rev. Alan Waters will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Macon Funeral Home to help the family pay for funeral expenses.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
