Ronnie Paul Maxson, 62, of Franklin, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012.
Born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, he was the son of the late Paul Maxson and Marjorie Rose Maxson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Lyla Reese Maxson and sister, Sharron Maxson. Ronnie was a US Marine veteran. He was a grounds keeper at Mill Creek Golf Course and worked as a meat cutter at Ingles. He loved to garden, loved the outdoors and enjoyed scaled model racing. Ronnie was a member of The Shepherds Chapel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Kenny Maxson and wife Shauna of Franklin; half-brother and half-sister, Jeff Maxson and Shelia Gies both of Florida and two grandchildren, Wesley and Isaac Maxson.
A gathering of friends will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Saturday, February 18th at Macon Funeral Home.
