Obituary
Ronald Edward Jones, 42, of Franklin, NC, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 5, 2006.
Born in Fulton County, Georgia, he was a lifelong resident of Macon County. He was the son of the late Mac Garland Jones and Claudette Chasse Jones. Ronnie was a subcontractor for Western Utilities. He was working in Gulfport, Mississippi helping to rebuild the phone systems after hurricane Katrina.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Robin Rankin; two children, MacKenzie Jones and Zachary Jones both of Franklin; one brother, Jerry Jones of Franklin; nieces and nephews, Amy Dyer, Nikki Dyer, Tiffani Dyer, Leslie Jones and Jerry Lee Jones.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 10, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny McGaha and Rev. Ricky Potts will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 9, at Macon Funeral Home.
