Obituary
Ronald L. Haines, 59, of Otto, NC, entered into rest Monday, May 22, 2006.
A native of Reisterstown, Maryland, he was the son of Margaret Haines and the late Harold Haines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Lynn Sams Haines, who died December 28, 2002. He was a US Air Force Veteran, serving in Vietnam as an airplane mechanic. He worked in customer service and sales for Eller and Owens Furniture and was a master woodworker craftsman and cabinet maker. He was the owner of Woodworking Legends in Otto.
Surviving in addition to his mother is one brother, Robert Haines and wife, Sandy of Reisterstown, Maryland; two nieces and two nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 26, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Alton Dendy will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at Macon Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorial Donations, Mid Atlantic Affiliate, Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216.
