Obituary
Roger William Hicks Jr. of Rutledge, TN, born to Roger W. Hicks Sr. and the late Geraldine Messer Hicks on February 2, 1965, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 in Johnson City, TN. Roger is survived by his father Roger William Hicks Sr. and his step mother Joan Keener Hicks, his longtime companion Amanda Caldwell and his sons, Jackson and Riley, his sister, Beverly Kemnitzer (Uve), step brother, Marlan Keener, step sister Cheryl Anne Keener (Jason Santangelo), nephews, Tyler Hicks and Till Kemnitzer.
Roger loved life and immensely enjoyed outdoor activities with his sons. He was an avid collector of legos and hot wheel cars and dearly loved to read.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, November 25 at Windy Gap Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Bishop, Rev. Eddie Stillwell, Rev. Carson Gibson, and Rev. Marlan Keener will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Windy Gap Baptist Church.
