Obituary
Roberta Mae Wassel, 84, of 154 Laurel Way, Franklin, North Carolina, passed away August 19th, 2011 in a nursing home in Sylva , NC.
She was a professor of Aviation at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. She was rated a pilot in Airline Transport, airline single engine land, airline single engine sea, airplane multi engine land and sea, flight instructor, and FAA designee. She is a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and is survived by her sister, Joan Vereen, and brother in law, Orville Vereen.
Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi and at Woodlawn cemetery by Rev Tien H Duong, on Thursday August 25th, 2011 at 11 AM.
Macon funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
