Obituary
Robert T. Stanfield, 67, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010.
Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Harley Stanfield. Robert attended Cullasaja Assembly of God; was a farmer and loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by three brothers, Robert Preleau Stanfield, Harley Stanfield, Jr. and William L. "Bill" Stanfield all of Franklin; sister, Ethylene Stanfield of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 4, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Alton Dendy will officiate. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Emil Varrichio, Jr., Tim Stanfield, Johnny Stanfield, Lester Stanfield, Jack Marr, Clyde McCall, Mark Stanfield and Daniel Stanfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1648, Franklin, NC 28744.
