Obituary
Robert "Bob" Eugene Sherman, 67, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017.
Born in Albert Lea, MN, he was the son of the late Eugene Sherman and Charlotte Dilling Medina and her husband Clifford. Bob worked many years at Nantahala Lumber Company in the electrical department and more recently at CES Electric Supply. He was a talented drummer and known for his good sense of humor and quick wit. Bob attended Holly Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Glenda Martin Sherman; four children, Amy Mirabile and husband Jack of Denver, CO, Melanie Thibault and husband Nelson of Franklin, Jennifer Haines and husband Matthew of Riverview, FL and Michael Webb of Franklin; two sisters, Mary Dainton and husband Dan of Bradenton, FL and Sandy Krueger and husband Jim of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 3rd at Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
