Obituary
Robert J. Sanders, 98, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019.
Born in Columbus, GA, he was the son of the late Maynard Sanders and Ida Barron Dozier Sanders. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Ewing Sanders; a daughter, Catherine Sanders; a brother, Maynard J. Sanders; and a sister, Ida Crozier. Robert was a US Navy veteran of WWII; Vocational Rehab Counselor for the State of Florida and was of the Episcopal faith.
He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Catherine Sanders; son, James J. Sanders of Franklin; daughter, Adelaide Monterastelli of Spring City, TN; seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
No services are planned.
