Robert A. Potts, age 53, of Fort Walton beach, FL passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 14, 2012.
He was born on March 2, 1959, in Fort Hood, Texas, to Arthur B. and Helen P. Potts. He was a resident of Fort Walton beach since 1973, and was Protestant by Faith. As a distributor for Lewis Bear Co. and Coca Cola Co. for many years, he was well known by many, and a friend to all who knew him. Rob was an avid sailor in the 1980's and was a crew member on the Catalina Racing Team.
He was preceded in death by his father; Arthur B. Potts. Survivors include his mother, Helen Potts, his loving wife, Lenore, his children, Nicholas Potts and Christina Anderson (Ty), grandson, Silas Anderson, and brother, Charlie Potts (Cindy).
Graveside services will be held at at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 18th in the Potts Family Cemetery in Cashiers, North Carolina.
