Robert Eugene Poteet, 85 of Franklin, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022.

Robert was born in Stonega, VA to the late Robert Eugene Poteet and Virginia Aileen Fritz Poteet. Robert was an Army Veteran and a member of Patton United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Patton; daughter, Pamela Poteet Wallace (Michael Cox); and grandchild, Kerridyn Cheyanne Cox, all of Franklin, NC.

A graveside service will be held at Patton United Methodist Church Cemetery on Friday, February 4, 2022, at 2 pm.
Pastor Evan Hill and Rev. Bobby Cloer will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Chris Green, Johnny Cloer, Tim Cochran, Eric Boatwright, Bobby Dills, and John Rogers.
