Robert Randolph "Randy" Kling, 77, of Franklin passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019.
Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late George F. Kling and Emma L. Hornberger Kling. Randy was a retired US Air Force veteran. He was a member of Windy Gap Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and reading.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Gail Sims Kling; children, Rebekah Wright (Stephen) of Wake Forest, NC, Ronnie Kling (Annie) of Havre, MT, and Toni Lesh (Brian) of Ickesburg, PA; sister, Colleen Burkholder (Larry) of Ocklawaha, FL; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and dear friends that were considered family, Arnold & Linda Edwards, Jan Gallman, and Jim & Kathy Rolls.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday July 13 at Windy Gap Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Bishop, Rev. Brian Browning, and Rev. Stephen Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Hickory Knoll Methodist Church Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 pm, Saturday, July 13 at Windy Gap Baptist Church.
