Robert Marion Hogue, 84, of Franklin, entered into rest Wednesday, June 28, 2006.
A native of Ashtabula, Ohio, he was the son of the late Frank Lorin and Lillian M. Heaston Hogue. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Randy Hogue, who died in 1996. He was a US Coast Guard veteran of WWII, serving on the USS Intensity. He was self employed real estate broker and was the co-founder of the Point of Sale Company in Cannon Falls, Minnesota; was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Franklin; loved to travel and was an avid fisherman.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Marilyn Grace Magee Hogue; two daughters, Laurel Emsley of Carmel, CA, Lynn Wallace of Sarasota, FL; three sons, Robert L. Hogue of St. Petersburg, FL, Richard Hogue of Portland, OR, Roger Hogue of Missoula, MT; two step daughters, Linda Eriksen of San Antonio, FL and Cynthia Hutchison of Franklin; a step son Christian Jensen of Seminole, FL; three sisters, Margaret Martin of South Euclid, Ohio, Eva Mae Williamson of Berea, OH, and Emma Jenkins of Clayton, MI; eighteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm. Sunday, July 2, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Ronnie Owens will officiate. Burial will be in the Rush Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and the American Legion Post 108.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at Macon Funeral Home.
