Obituary
Robert Lee Gibson, 81, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018.
Born in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Paul and Hannah Wolfe Gibson. He is preceded in death by one brother, Charles and a sister, Helen.
Mr. Gibson was a member of the First United Methodist Church where he served as an usher. He was an avid golfer and he loved electronics and computers. He enjoyed volunteering at the Methodist Church and other organizations.
Robert is survived by his daughter Nanette Gibson Holland and her husband Scott of Franklin, NC; two sisters, Anna Mae Getz of Myerstown, PA; Sue Ann Kauffman of Pine Grove, PA; two brothers, George Gibson of Pine Grove, PA; Clarence Gibson of Tower City, PA; one granddaughter, Bethany Holland and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church at 6 pm. Rev. Scott Holland, Rev. David Beam and Rev. Margaret Freeman will officiate. Burial will be held at the Suedberg Church of God Cemetery, Pine Grove, PA.
