Obituary
Robert Loren Clapp, 72,of Franklin, NC and Boynton Beach, FL, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2007.
Born in Michigan City, Indiana, he was the son of the late Clyde and Ruth Covert Clapp. He was a U.S. Army Veteran; a member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church and he was a volunteer at the Chamber of Commerce in Franklin where he devoted many hours. Robert was in accounting and in retail sales.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Donna Jean Brown Clapp; one son, Kevin Clapp and fiancé Viki Mills of Royal Palm Beach, FL; one daughter, Camille Johnson and husband Kirk; two grandchildren, Bree Johnson and Isaac Johnson all of Hastings, MN; and one sister Cathi Nelson of South Bend, Indiana.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, at the Resurrection Lutheran Church. Rev. Gary Brown and Rev. Lee Steffen will officiate.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060(www.americanheart.org) .
