Robert "Tommy" Bryant, 54, of Aquone, NC passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007.
Born in Gretna, VA, he was the son of David Leonard Bryant and Mary Elizabeth Simpson Bryant. Tommy was the owner of Tom's Stone Masonry and had previously worked for Macon County Supply. He loved to elk hunt in Oregon; loved working on his farm and spending time outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Teresa Neal Bryant; one son, Shawn Bryant and wife Kathy of Aquone; three brothers, David Bryant of Franklin, Leonard W. Bryant of Oregon, Eddie Bryant of Haines, Alaska; three sisters, Cindy Soleburg of Juno, Alaska, Colleen Phillips of Montana and Carolyn Dunaway of Oregon; and father-in-law, David Neal of Aquone.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 14, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Guy Duvall, Rev. Gene Bryant and Rev. S.J. Waters will officiate. Burial will be in the Aquone Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Trevor Jones, Paul Bryant, Jay Prince, Connie Mason, Tommy Cochran and Branch Buchanan.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
