Obituary
Robert "Bob" Akers, 83, resident of Franklin, passed away May 4, 2020.
Bob was born in Kalamazoo, MI and was a US Marine Corp Veteran. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his surviving wife, Joan and their six children, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 beloved sisters. One daughter predeceased Bob.
Bob loved restoring antique tractors and engines and was a member of the Early Farm Days Tractor and Engine Club.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to ones favorite charity.
Macon Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
