Rita Sullivan, 88, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015.
Born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, she was the daughter of the late Sheldon Osgood Smith and Minnie Todd Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James Edward Sullivan; three sisters, Lee Link, Hazel Mastin and Barbara Jean Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Lynn Poole (Cliff) of Greensboro, NC; son, James Edward Sullivan, Jr. of Davie, FL; and two grandchildren, William James Simcox, Jr. (Jill) of Stokesdale, NC and Stephanie Renee Feaster (Brandon) of Randleman, NC and two great grandchildren, Austin James Feaster and Noah James Simcox and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 27 at Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday, at Macon Funeral Home.
