Obituary
Richard Camden Smith, 78, of Franklin, NC, passed away Friday, October 1, 2010.
Born in Haywood Co, NC, he was the son of the late Troy Smith and Flora Elizabeth Freeman Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Buck Smith and Jonathan Smith; a daughter, Linda Smith; three brothers, Troy Smith, Virgil Smith, Bill Smith and a sister, May Smathers. Richard was a US Army veteran and served during the Korean conflict.
He is survived by two sons, William Smith and wife Regina of Franklin and Joe Robbins of Waynesville, NC; a brother, Bruce Smith of Brevard, NC; three sisters, Neva Pressley, Juanita Smith and Betty Jo Kilby; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
No Services have been planned at this time.
