Richard Bruce Caldwell, 84, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2009.
Born in Rome, GA, he was the son of the late Thomas Caldwell and Anna Watson Caldwell. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII; maintenance supervisor for the Volusia County School System and was an avid football fan.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Holland Caldwell and a nephew, Thomas Dugan Caldwell III of Rome, GA.
A Graveside Service will be held in Deland, FL.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
