Obituary
Raymond "Buddy" Earl Thompson Jr., age 76, of Franklin, NC passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Angel Medical Center in Franklin, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Sr. and Kathleen Thompson; and wife, Glenda Thompson.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Thompson of Franklin, NC; children, Ricky and Melissa Thompson and Gary and Tammy Thompson; step-children; Gina and Tom Olsen, Dana Sanders, Mark Sanders, and Sabrina Sanders; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jimmy Thompson, Tommy Thompson, Wanell Chapman, Gaynell and Jerry Ferguson, Alice Murrin, and Carolyn and Arvil Goins; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Mountain View Church of Christ Cemetery. Family and friends may call at their convenience from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville. (865) 982-6041 www.millerfuneralhome.org
