Obituary
Rayford Chester Ledford, 76, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2006.
A native of McCaysville, GA, he was the son of the late Benjamin C. Ledford and Bessie Stanley Ledford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters and one grandson. He was a US Army veteran and was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by four children, Vickie Armstrong of Jasper, GA, Lucinda Prosser of Franklin, NC, Connie Ledford of Largo, FL and Rebecca Schmelzer of Jacksonville, FL; brother, James Ledford of McCaysville, GA; one sister, Delois Green of Live Oak, FL; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
