Obituary
Randy Raby, 42, of Billingsley Rd., Scaly Mountain, NC, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Highlands, Cashiers Hospital.
Born in Transylvania Co, NC, October 1, 1966, he was the son of Bobby Joe Raby and Barbara Ann Watson Raby. He was a rock and brick mason in the construction industry. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Mount Sinai Assembly of God.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Billingsley Raby; son, Christopher Allen Raby of Scaly Mountain; daughter, Keri Ann Raby of Scaly Mountain; granddaughter, Jaylin Brook Raby of Scaly Mountain; two brothers, Mike Raby and Gary Raby both of Franklin; two sisters, Sandra Raby James of Salem, SC and Michelle Elliott of Otto and oen daughter in law, Janice Talley of Scaly Mountain.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2009 at the Flats Middle Creek Baptist Church in Scaly Mountain. Rev. Dwight Loggins will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Hunter Funeral Home.
