Harry "Ralph" Tallent, 79, of Clayton, GA, passed away December 26, 2010.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Harry and Mary Grey Tallent. Ralph was a US Marine Corp veteran and a retired truck driver and fork lift operator. He was a member of the Clayton VFW and he loved the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Frankie McCall Tallent; daughter, Mary Jo Hedden and husband Ralph of Tiger, GA; son, Mickey R. Tallent and wife Teresa of Franklin; two brothers, Bill Tallent of Michigan and Joe Tallent of Franklin; two grandchildren, Brian Tallent and Amy Tallent and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Clay Patton will officiate.
