Obituary
Ralph McClure, 92, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2006.
A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Lee and Brunettie McCoy McClure. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Gibson McClure who died August 26, 2006 one son, Edward McClure; and two brothers, Sherman and James. He was a member of Goldmine Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda Dodgins of Franklin and Lucille Johnson of Candler, NC; one sister, Birdell Holland of Franklin; one brother, Everette McClure of Black Mountain, NC; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Gene Hawkins, Rev. Bill Wooten and Rev. Vic Greene will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Moriah Cemetery (Goldmine Community).
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, at Macon Funeral Home.
