Obituary

Quince H. Huscusson, 66, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Tue., Sept. 19, 2006.

A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Lester and Edna Ledbetter Huscusson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved friend and companion Hank, his cocker spaniel. Quince lived most of his life in Canton, OH, graduating from Canton South High School. He retired in 1994 from Timken Co. after 30 years of service and moved back to Macon County in 1997. He was a former member of D.A.V., Eagles, Moose of Massillon, OH. Quince had a great love for the mountains and for his many friends. He remained strong and hopeful until the very end. He dearly loved animals.

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 30 years, Mary Lou Huscusson; sons, Bill Huscusson of Franklin, Brian Huscusson and Matt Huscusson both of Canton, OH; step son, Donald Brewer of Louisville, OH; one brother, Glenn Huscusson of Franklin; five grandchildren, seven step grandchildren; many sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws of Ohio who he loved dearly; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and favorite uncle Homer Ledbetter of Carrollton, OH.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, September 22, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Dryman and Rev. Don Bates will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Friday, at Macon Funeral Home.
