Pritchard Thomas Chastain, 90, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016.

Born in Macon Co, he was the son of the late John Daniel Chastain and Nancy Adaline Reed Chastain. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Brenda Chastain; five brothers and two sisters. Pritchard was a US Army veteran and served during WWII. He was a member of Coweeta Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Joyce Brabson Chastain; two children, Jerry Chastain and wife Debbie of Otto and Kathy Flowers and husband Bo of Otto; three step-children, Patricia Hummel of Otto, Marvin Cunningham and wife Debbie of Otto and Linda Pitts and husband Glenn of Franklin; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 19th at Coweeta Baptist Church. Rev. Davis Hooper and Rev. Don Moffitt will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military rites conducted by VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 18th at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Chastain, Shane Cunningham, Stephen Hummel, Bo Flowers, Jamie Thompson and Isaac Pitts.
