Posey Hill Jacobs, 88, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013.
Born in Alabama, he was the son of the late Charles Shered Jacobs and Jesse Smith Jacobs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Jacobs; step-daughter, Carolyn Hussey and brothers and sisters, Jesse Jacobs, Charles Jacobs, Sarah Bailey and Lucille Virgola. Posey was a member of Wade Baptist Church in Rocky Ford, GA.
He is survived by his daughter, Susanne Patterson and husband Douglas; step-daughter, Rosalie Torano of Lake Tahoe, CA; sister, Juanita Darden of Lagrange, GA; four grandchildren, Sara Patterson, Chuck Thomason, Deborah MacIntyre and Stephen Binder; six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 5th at Wades Baptist Church in Sylvania, GA.
