Obituary
Peter C. Fitzgerald, 64, of Ft. Myers, FL, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007.
A native of Cortland, NY, he was the son of the late Charles F. Fitzgerald, Jr. and Winona Jane Griggs Fitzgerald. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles F. Fitzgerald, III. Peter was a U.S. Army veteran and was a truck driver. He loved his friends, and visiting Frankie's Restaurant in Ft. Myers, where he was always greeted by his many friends.
He is survived by a brother, Michael S. Fitzgerald of Cicero, NY; a sister, Susan Fitzgerald of Franklin; a sister-in-law, Judy Fitzgerald of Ft. Myers, FL; several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece.
A Private Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angel Hospice Foundation, PO Box 815, Franklin, NC 28744; Macon Co. Humane Society, PO Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744; or one's favorite charity.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
