Obituary
Peter George Dorval, 44, of Otto, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of Yvonne Bastien and the late Rene G. Dorval. Peter cleaned carpet in Franklin for many years. He enjoyed volunteering at schools and helped with the Boy Scouts. He was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Valerie Dorval; two sons, Jesse Dorval and Dawson Dorval both of the home; five brothers and sisters, Joyce Dorval of Gainesville, FL, Donald Dorval of Bridgewater, MA, Diane Andrews of Whitinsville, MA, Paul Dorval of Memphis, TN and Renee Dorval of Gainesville, FL; mother and father-in-law, Elizabeth and Roy Letner of Otto and brother-in-law, Robert Wilhelm of Otto.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 27th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Davis Hooper will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial donations can be made to the Angel Medical Center Cancer Team, C/O Kathy Morris, 120 Riverview Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
