Obituary
Penelope Marie Scott, 74, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017.
Born in Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Henry Paul Nolen and Lily May Carroll Nolen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Jay "Scottie" Scott who died in 2013; her friend Richard Bregen and two sisters, Helen Ruth Nolen Davis and Lutie Paula Nolen Amoon.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Jessica Nolen Berry and Carroll "Dolores" Nolen Porter both of Franklin; one niece, two nephews and her special friends, Betty Mottola of Franklin and Julie King of Los Angeles, CA.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Appalachian Animal Rescue, designated for cats, PO Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
