Peggy Walker, 71, of Rabun Gap, GA, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016.
Born in Cordele, GA, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Walker and Elma Causey Walker. Peggy retired from the Dougherty County School System, Albany, GA, after 34 years as a school teacher.
She is survived by her sister, Marvilyn Blasingame and husband Sam of Franklin; niece, Katie Bowen and husband Scott; nephew, Kane Blasingame and wife Brooke; great nephew, Walker Bowen and great niece, Mackenzie Bowen.
At her request, no services are planned.
Memorial donations can be made to Rabun County EMS, 36 Emergency Drive, Clayton, GA 30525 or Valley Fire Department, 29 Betty Creek Drive, Dillard, GA 30537.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
