Peggy Vinson, 85, of Griffin, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019.

Born in Rabun County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Raleigh Hopper and Winnie Keener Hopper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Vinson; son, David Leon Vinson; and six sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Vernon Vinson (Willina) of Griffin, GA, and Victor Vinson of Suwanee, GA; daughter, Wilma Vinson of Cumming, GA; two grandchildren, Carrie Ann David and Carra Lynn Hand; four great-grandchildren, Reese David, Josie David, Sophia David and Peyton Hand; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 31 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Lou Rogers and Rev. Tyler Nations will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tessentee Church of God Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dwight Vinson, Mark Vinson, Dexter Vinson, Gary Rogers, Travis Jones, Sherrill Dutton, and Gerald Vinson.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
