Pearl Jean Jones Johnson, 69 of Warren, MI, formerly of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2006, in Detroit , Michigan.

A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Tom Jones and Nora Chastain Jones. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Everett Hurst and her second husband B. F. Johnson; three brothers, Ralph, Crawford, and Clyde Jones, and sister, Marie Hurst.

She is survived by a daughter Angela Lynn Hester and husband Paul of Warren, MI; three sisters, Trudy Taylor of Lakemont, GA, Lucille Jones of Darrington, WA, and Annie Shepherd of Franklin, NC; one brother, Harry Jones of Mountain City, GA; one granddaughter, Rebecca Ann Hester; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 10, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Davis Hooper will officiate. Burial will be in the Mulberry United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, September 9, at the Funeral Home.

The family will be gathering at the home of Mrs. Annie (Carl) Shepherd, 1060 Lake Emory Road, Franklin.
