Pearl Goletz Himschoot, 83, of Franklin, entered into rest on Monday, March 21, 2005.

A native of Harvey, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Marie Sarnowski Goletz. She was married to the late James "Jim" Himschoot who died January 13, 2005 and was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Himschoot who died in 2002. Mrs. Himschoot was a US Air Force WAC WWII veteran; member of St. Francis Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus ladies auxiliary.

She is survived by four children, Becky Hamilton, Marie Cook and William Himschoot all of Franklin and Dotti Currier of Ft. Myers, FL; one brother, Walter Goletz of Indiana; and ten grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 28, at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Matthew Kauth will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 p.m. Monday, March 28 at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Cook, Chad Cook, Greg Himschoot, Zachary Himschoot, Tristan Currier and Carig Currier.

Knights of Columbus will be Honorary Pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Francis Catholic Church for the Grotto, 303 Maple Street, Franklin, NC 28734.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
