Pauline Wild Sanders, 92, of Greenville, SC formerly of Franklin, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of late Judson A. Wild and Lela Ray Wild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harris L. Sanders and her three brothers; Frank M. Wild, James B. Wild and Robert W. Wild. Pauline was the first female employee of the Bank of Franklin (aka Macon Bank); teller for Wachovia Bank and bookkeeper for Old Town Baptist Church. She was also the historian for the City of Flat Rock, NC; and enjoyed crafts, painting, writing poems and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Waters and husband Dean of Greenville, SC and Susan Jefford and husband Clayton of Tell City, IN; grandchildren; Benjamin Waters, Patrick Waters and Bradley Waters all of Greenville, SC; Dustin Jefford and wife Molly of Indianapolis, IN; Ashley Biever and husband David of Tell City, IN and Logan Jefford and wife Sarah of Madison, WI; great grandchildren; Liam and Wyatt Biever and Josie Jefford.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 7, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Burningtown Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:30 a.m. Friday, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Waters, Patrick Waters, Bradley Waters, Logan Jefford, Clayton Jefford and Dean Waters.
