Pauline M. O'Brien, 89, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013.

Born in Lansing, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Robert Searles Marshall and Maggie Blanche Terpening Marshall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert O'Brien and two sisters, Betty Brenner and Helen Colgrove and three brothers, William, Robert and Donald Marshall. She was a member of Merriman Baptist Church, Asheville.

She is survived by a son, Wayne J. O'Brien; three grandchildren, Christine Cook, Timothy O'Brien and Robin Ottmo; three great grandchildren, Sarah Cook, Gabriel O'Brien and Harlie Ottmo and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Greg Rogers will officiate.

Memorial donations can be made to the Pine Grove Baptist Cemetery Fund.
